Results update
Mixed results on the football today. Surprising there wasn't a 1st half goal or goal at all in the
Sunderland match, even though the stats suggested a good possibility. The stats did not pan out at all for the Doncaster match with a massive 7 goals in total, This came as a shock as both teams have scored < an AVG of a GPG home and away this season.
The Bristol City bet/trade was the one highlight with them taking a 0-2 lead and drawing 2-2 in the end. I was tempted to advise the lay of Birmingham at 1.5, but went for the safer option.
From experience things start to become more unpredicatble/volatile around this time of the season with relegation and promotion on the agenda and i will keep this in mind between now and the end of the season.
Tennis Saturday 14th
It's semi-finals day across the two ATP and two WTA tournaments and their are some good matches on offer if you can drag yourself away from the football and racing today.
I've looked at the daytime matches at Casablanca, Barcelona and Copenhagen and while the matches are competitive, there are are one or two trading possibilitis that may return a profit.
At Casablanca the match between Ramos and Andreev should be competitive as both players are playing well and in form. Ramoss' form this year is a level above Andreev's however, and he has already beaten him twice on clay, albeit in close matches at San Paulo in February 7-6 7-6 and at Kitzbuhel last summer 6-0 6-7 6-4.
I fancied Ramos for this title and i think he can make it 3 in a row against Andreev today, but judging by their last two meetings it won't be easy. As a result i won't be advising him at odds of around 1.6.
At Barcelona on the WTA the match between Cirstea and CIbulkova interests me for trading. I think Cibulkova might win, but her results this week and overall this year don't warrant her current price of 1.5, and i think she may trade higher in running.
Both players were pushed to 3 sets in their last two matches by lower ranked players and there is not a significant amount between them on surface form, so this could be a match where the lead changes hands, maybe over 3 sets.
Barcelona WTA
Cirstea vs Cibulkova - 2.15pm
Lay Cibulkova at 1.5 - back for 1/2 stake at 3.0 (LOST -1)
Stop loss - back Cibulkova at 1.25 (not if wins 1st set)
Result update
Albert Ramos won his match against Andreev as expected, however our main trade was a
loser as Cirstea failed to put up any sort of fight against Cibulkova losing 6-1 6-1.
Plenty more great opportunities for making profits on the tennis over the coming months and the rest of the year however, so please stick with me and i'm sure you won't be dissapointed.
No further tennis advice for today, but i'll be back tomorrow morning before 10am with possible match advice for tomorrow's finals at Casablanca, Barcelona, Copenhagen and Houston.
